That guy with the mustache is abusing me with his loud voice and rude hand gestures… I want to cry…

  2. whyelizabeth says:

i agree that i want to slap the guy with the moustache…
Children cry constantly when they are young, those children were given back the lollipops and in their older life they aren’t going to be traumatised by one minute of crying. children sometimes react like that even when you tell them they can’t have something they want. there much more open with their emotions.

that’s so funny! I know. who is that reporter? Bizzare.

  4. sammyigoe says:

what the fuck is wrong with her voice, one things its american which is bad, but its like shes had something jammed down her throat LOL !!

  5. PoisonKiss22 says:

Listen you give me one child and I will ask it has your older sibling ever taken away a toy or candy you were holding that made you cry? They will say yes, give me 17 other children and they will say the same thing. I think she is an amazing artist and should not be pummeled by hurtful words coming out of these bloggers mouths, they are to stupid to understand and comprehand the meaning of her art.

Most of her photographes that I looked on her website are very nice, but I just don’t agree with this, I could never do it myself, and I would never allow my child to be used for something like this. There are so many unhappy children in the world, it makes me happy when I see pictures of happy kids in pictures, and these ones I did not enjoy or agree with even with the point that the artist was trying to make.

  7. rosashanaa says:

that is kind of (*&*&% , abuse, I love kids, I have been working with them and I am an activist against child abuse but what is that guy talking about, I;m with the people who said “Would you have preferred that Greenberg captured photos of crying children that were in hospital’s,war zones,?”
I wish he would go out of his comfort zone to see how important it is to show the pain that our politicians make to world and kids all around the world.

  8. Kymimom says:

I have a question for Bill Fallon – Fmr. Prosecutor. Your argument is that J.Greenbergs photos/art is exploitative of crying children, and that Greenberg is profiting off of their “abuse”.

How is that any different than the income you get from your work?

Would you have preferred that Greenberg captured photos of crying children that were in hospital’s,war zones, abject poverty or any number of other venues?

She induced crying based on a temporary removal of a Lollipop, which is not abusive.

  9. Kymimom says:

I wonder if this would have been a concern for the bloggers if the photographer (Jill Greenberg) had used a different method to capture her photo’s? The fact is that children (people in general do) cry for any number of reasons.
Supposed the method of capturing the image of a crying child was not “induced with the taking away of a lollipop, but instead J. Greenberg photographed children in settings where they were crying anyways? Places like hospitals, war zones, funerals that more exploitative?

  10. halli321 says:

I wonder what happened to Rita Crosby?

I don’t mind her voice, but I guess it grates on some people. Maybe she works behind the scenes now.

    I KNOW!

I want to slap that guy with the mustache.

Kids cry. It’s a fact. When someone takes a high quality photo of a kid crying.. it’s child abuse? wtf.

mainstream media is propaganda at its finest. orwell would be proud. five people control what americans read in the papers and watch on their TVs. if they wanted smart, informed americans, it would not be a difficult task. they wanted obedient workers who would bow to the state and never ask questions. most of you have readily complied with their hopes !!

There is no such thing as a “white guy”. Maybe an albino but come on. I am mostly caucasian, I guess? I am dark. So are most Middle Easterners. Get over race.

  15. drma2ueen1718 says:

the voice of that anchorwoman is ah-nnoying!

  16. jstnbcn says:

good god… that woman’s voice makes me want to gag or something.

  17. tonebone0011 says:

    That woman’s voice is a little unsettling…

  18. tonebone0011 says:

I also bet a lot of the same people complaining about the kids losing their lolipops don’t even think twice when they eat their steak and eggs everyday.

  19. tonebone0011 says:

So where are these bloggers that are against this? In reality, the majority of the internet community are liberal but they make it seem like theres millions of ultra conservatives that get mad at every little thing. Maybe I’m only speaking for the Youtube community. Out of all the comments there was probably only two that complained about child abuse. Maybe if she slapped the kid on the face to get them to cry would be bad though. Perhaps a slap on the hand and a nintendo DS would be ok.

  20. SoCalstylez858 says:

KIDS cry all the time… annoying too.

Anyway, BILL is too dark for a white guy, and Rita needs to get off the air. Her voice is making me feel worried about her.

  21. mrmindstorms says:

wtf is wrong with her voice

  22. marikameadows says:

It seems that the media reich …. err right seem threatened by Jill’s Art. Love or hate her for her political commentary as we all have the right to our beliefs. But to question her as an artist is absurd. In fact isn’t art supposed to ellict emotional response? Judging by the hysteria she causes I think she has done a very good job of creating amazing ART.

  23. thestickmane says:

There are children that are RAELLY abused everyday. Why don’t they make a segment about that instead of drawing attention to this nonsense. I’m a photography student, and I just heard a preasentation by a very succesful child photographer in based in NYC where he was talking about using the exact same technique to make kids cry for some of his photos for advertising clients.

  24. Fatruca says:

    child abuse?
over the snatch of a lollipop?
hilarious, just shows the american way of getting what we want and when we dont, we cry.

the pictures are beautiful and i thought they were paintings, get OVER IT.
right, JUST A LOLLIPOP, like JUST JOHN MCCAIN, if someone told me obama got elected and then snatched him away for mccain? i would make some agonizing faces too.

  25. erfansvideos says:

how else would she be able to capture the children crying? By shooting their parents in front of them?
